Corona's case has been steadily rising since the local government elections in the state. After 4 months, 1,565 cases have been reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. Earlier, on November 29, 1,564 cases were registered. While 969 patients have recovered and returned home. The death toll in Ahmedabad and Surat Corporation area was 2-2 and in Vadodara and Rajkot Corporation area was 1-1 with a total death toll of 4,443. For the first time since December 28, six patients have died in the state.
The number of active cases crossed 6 thousand
With this, the recovery rate of the state has gone up to 96.08 per cent. The number of new patients and the number of discharged patients have been increasing in the state for the last 28 days. Earlier on February 20, the number of recoveries was higher than the number of new patients. The number of active cases of corona in the state has crossed 6 thousand and at present there are 6737 active cases.
Vaccines were given to older people with serious illness
So far 28 lakh 36 thousand 204 people have been vaccinated with the first dose and 5 lakh 92 thousand 712 people have been vaccinated with the second dose. A total of 34 lakh 28 thousand 916 vaccinations have been completed. A total of 1 lakh 87 thousand 654 people over 60 years of age and 45 to 60 years of age with serious illness have been vaccinated in the state today. So far no one in the state has seen any serious side effects due to this vaccine.

6737 active cases, 69 patients on ventilator
The state has so far received 2 lakh 84 thousand 429 positive reports, while the death toll has risen to 4,443. Also 2 lakh 74 thousand 249 patients have been discharged so far. As far as active cases are concerned, there are currently 6147 active cases in the state, out of which 69 patients are on ventilator, while 6668 patients are in stable condition.
