Corona's case has been steadily rising since the local government elections in the state. After 149 days i.e. 6 months, 1122 cases have been reported in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. Earlier, on October 20, 1126 cases were registered. While 775 patients have recovered and returned home. The death toll has risen to 4,430 with a total of 3 patient deaths found 1-1 in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat Corporation areas.

The number of active cases crossed 5 thousand
With this, the recovery rate of the state has gone up to 96.54 per cent. The number of new patients and the number of discharged patients have been increasing in the state for the last 25 days. Earlier on February 20, the number of recoveries was higher than the number of new patients. The number of active cases of corona in the state has crossed 5 thousand and at present there are 5310 active cases. The state has reported 3 deaths two months after January 25.

Vaccination time extended in state metros
The Gujarat government has taken an important decision regarding the vaccination of corona. Vaccination will now be given in all the Municipal Corporations of the state till 9.30 pm. It was decided to cover maximum number of beneficiaries of covid vaccination in vaccination. So far, a total of 22 lakh 71 thousand 145 people have been vaccinated with the first dose.

Vaccines were given to older people with serious illness
So far 22 lakh 71 thousand 145 people have been vaccinated with the first dose and 5 lakh 54 thousand 662 people have been vaccinated with the second dose. A total of 52 thousand 952 persons over 60 years of age as well as those aged 45 to 60 years with serious illness have been vaccinated in the state. So far no one in the state has seen any serious side effects due to this vaccine.




5310 active cases, 61 patients on ventilator
The state has so far received 2 lakh 81 thousand 173 positive reports, while the death toll has risen to 4,430. Also 2 lakh 71 thousand 433 patients have been discharged so far. Speaking of active cases, there are currently 5310 active cases in the state, out of which 61 patients are on ventilator, while 5249 patients are in stable condition.
