The pace of corona transition in the country is increasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, 25,154 new patients have been registered. 16,519 patients have recovered, while 159 have died. Thus the number of active cases, i.e., the number of patients undergoing treatment has increased by 8,477. Now the number of active cases has crossed 2 lakh and reached 2 lakh 7 thousand 499. On February 11, it reached 1 lakh 33 thousand 79. This was the lowest since Corona Peak (10.17 lakh) on September 17.
As many as 1.13 crore people have been infected in the country so far
So far, 1.13 crore people in the country have contracted the disease. Out of this, 1.09 crore people have recovered. 1.58 lakh people have died, while 2.07 lakh are undergoing treatment. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.
Corona updates
In Madhya Pradesh too, night curfew may be imposed in Bhopal and Indore from Sunday or Monday in view of increasing cases of corona. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this during a meeting here on Friday.
In Himachal Pradesh, a woman doctor has tested positive for corona 27 days after taking the second dose of the vaccine. Doctors are stationed at the Solan Town Regional Hospital, officials said Saturday.
Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati on Saturday administered the corona vaccine to a private hospital in Lucknow. "I appeal to the Center and the state government to provide free corona vaccine to the poor," he said.
It has been decided to hold lockdown in Aurangabad, Maharashtra on Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the day will have a night curfew from 11pm to 7am. A curfew has been imposed in Jalgaon till March 15. Besides, a partial lockdown in Nashik and a lockdown in Nagpur from March 15 to 21 have been decided.
The DGCA has issued a new circular in view of the increasing cases of corona. It said strict action would be taken if the guideline was not followed during air travel. Passengers without masks can also be dropped off from the flight.
Situation of 6 states
1. Maharashtra
There were 15,602 cases reported on Saturday and 7,467 patients recovered while 88 of them lost their lives. So far 22.97 lakh people have been infected in the state. It has cured 21.25 lakh patients, while 52,811 people have died. Currently 1.18 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
2. Kerala
On Saturday, 2,035 people were infected with coronary heart disease and 3,256 patients recovered and 12 died. So far 10.89 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 10.53 lakh have recovered, while 4,382 infected people have lost their lives. 30,937 patients are receiving treatment.
3. Madhya Pradesh
On Saturday, 635 people felt a coronary infection and 496 patients recovered and 2 died. So far 2.67 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 2.59 lakh people have recovered, while 3,885 patients have died. 4,512 are undergoing treatment.
4. Gujarat
Cases of 775 corona were reported here on Saturday and 579 patients recovered and 2 died. So far 2.77 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 2.68 lakh people have recovered, while 4,422 patients have died. 4,200 are undergoing treatment.
5. Rajasthan
On Friday, 201 people were infected with the corona and 114 patients recovered. So far, 3.22 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 3.17 lakh people have recovered, while 2789 patients have died. 2,329 are undergoing treatment.
6. Delhi
Here on Saturday 419 people were found to be corona positive and 302 patients recovered and 3 people died. So far 6.43 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 6.30 lakh people have recovered, while 10,939 patients have died. 2,207 are undergoing treatment.
