On March 2, a 31-year-old man from South Africa was admitted to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital with symptoms of corona at Borisana in Kalol, Gandhinagar. The new strain that is wreaking havoc in Africa has been found in the youth of Gandhinagar.

In this regard, the Superintendent of Gandhinagar Civil Hospital, Niyatiben Lakhani, said that as per Corona's guidelines, the young man came from Africa and tested positive for RT PCR, samples of which were sent to a laboratory in Pune by courier. People who came in contact with the young man are currently being isolated by getting his home history.
