Corona has been in the state for more than a year. As well as the lockdown caused by Corona and the fear among the people, many businesses are in a bad state. Most people face economic hardship. While some industries have been shut down and some industries have collapsed, the condition of the tours and travels industry is also bad. Tours and Travels have lost more than Rs 1,500 crore in the last one year.
Some travel agency owners started other work
Most of the business of tours and travels is done during Diwali and summer vacations. But Korona was launched last year, so there was nothing like a summer vacation and even during the Diwali festivities a number of bans were imposed by the government as cases increased. There was also a fear of corona among the people which is why people did not go for special walks. Currently, 60 to 70 percent of the business is running less than usual. Some travel agency owners have left this job and started other work.
