The company has also announced the Snapdragon X62 5G modem RF (radio frequency) system along with the Snapdragon X65 5G modem. This will work as a solution for a modem-to-antenna to work on a mobile broadband application.

New milestone of 5G speed

“5G is one of the biggest opportunities right now,” said Cristiano Amon, president and CEO of Qualcomm. Every type of industry is benefiting from this technology. We are preparing a milestone for the Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system. It will get a speed of 10Gbps per second.

"The new system will enhance the 5G experience in premium smartphones," Amon said. At the same time, new doors can open in fields like mobile broadband, commuter, XR, 5G private.

Advantages of 10Gbps speed

Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 5G modem will get speeds up to 10Gbps. Now even if many devices are connected in one modem, the speed of internet will not be affected. This means that many users will be able to download heavy files in less time.
